PETER Andre eased his love-split heartache by spending a night with Celeb Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton.

He cosied up to the 25-year-old beauty at a plush hotel after they left a champagne bash together.

Peter, 36, had played down claims he was dating the Jordan lookalike.

He went on Radio 1’s Chris Moyles Show to hear his new single Behind Closed Doors played on air for the first time. Peter told Moyles he shared the same manager as Chantelle and she was a “very nice person”.

He added: “I don’t think there’s even one little bit of my head that could even think of anyone else at the moment.”

But just hours later he was pictured with Chantelle again at the Silver Clef awards at the London Hilton.

Peter also admitted the last three months had been “the worst of my life”.

But asked if there was a chance of being reunited with Kate Price, 31, he said: “What’s done is done. I think I’ve cried enough.”

Peter said he was starting to recover as he promotes his single – which is out for download on August 10 – and gets close to Chantelle.

“The last few days I’ve just started to pick up a bit,” he said. “I’m feeling all right. Not a barrel of laughs but better ... better.”

Meanwhile, shy Kate hid under a towel after having her hair done in Worthing, West Sussex.
