A MUM hit out at the “lenient” justice system after her out-of-control son was finally jailed yesterday.

Exasperated Ruth Hutton said James Korer, 19, should have been locked up long before his three-year sentence for armed robberies on takeaway delivery drivers.

“He should have been sent to prison a lot earlier,” said Ruth. “He went to court 25 times in seven years.”

Korer pleaded guilty at Leeds Crown Court to three robberies. A further robbery offence was taken into account.
