JORDAN and Alex Reid are ready to adopt a child after the cagefighter revealed: “I fear I shoot blanks.”
Newlyweds Jordan and Alex Reid will make inquiries about copying Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and taking in an orphan from earthquake-hit Haiti.
The pair who wed in Las Vegas on Tuesday, are desperate to start a family as soon as they arrive back in the UK this weekend.
But Alex, 34, has been warned by medics he has a low sperm count because of his past use of steroids and growth hormones.
Pals revealed he has been told there is a chance he might not be able to conceive a baby naturally.
But that will not stop Kate, 31, who has her heart set on sealing her romance by having her fourth child.
If she does not get pregnant within a few months, she has told Alex: "We will adopt."
Brad Pitt, 46, and Angelina Jolie, 34, have three adopted children from impoverished Third World countries.
And a pal close to Alex said: "He has always joked that he worries he may not be able to have kids. He was with his ex Marie for years and they never used protection when they had sex.
"We all hope it's not true because he would make an amazing dad. But if it doesn't happen, they can always do a Brangelina."
Kate spoke about her desire to adopt a child while still wed to Peter Andre, 36.
She said: "I saw a documentary on TV about kids abandoned in Bulgaria and it affected me because they all have disabilities.
"They are either blind or have learning difficulties and their parents don't want them so they abandon them. I think about adoption every day, but not yet."
Last night medical expert Dr Julian Spinks told the Daily Star: "Excessive steroid use can cause shrinkage of the testicles and dramatically reduce sperm production.
"Growth hormones can also have a negative effect on reproduction."
Last night a spokesman for Alex said he was unaware his client had taken steroids, but added: "I am sure Alex would want kids of his own."
The couple's baby plans were revealed as they emerged from a 19-hour sex marathon in their Vegas hotel suite.
They spent all day in bed after a wild wedding night at a strip club, where they splashed out £20,000 on booze and private dances.
It was also revealed they wed without signing a pre-nup agreement.
Last night Kate's lawyers were said to be trying to persuade her to consider a post-nuptial agreement, which could safeguard her £30million fortune.
Meanwhile, 91% of the thousands of readers who took part in a Daily Star poll yesterday said they believe Jordan's latest marriage will not survive.
