JAMES DeGale has been offered £50,000 to fight his fiercest British rival, George Groves.

The fight is being lined up for Manchester’s MEN Arena on April 3 as chief support to David Haye’s WBA heavyweight title defence against John Ruiz.

DeGale, the Olympic middleweight champion, and Groves boxed together as amateurs at London’s Dale Youth club but later fell out.
