X FACTOR REJECTS JEDWARD ON TAKING JORDAN'S PLACE IN I'M A CELEBRITY

X FACTOR rejects Jedward remained tight-lipped today about whether they would be taking Katie Price's place in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

Twins John and Edward Grimes - dubbed "Jedward" - who were booted off X Factor last night, were asked this morning if they would consider going on I'm A Celebrity to replace Jordan, who walked out of the show today.

Despite saying they are "up for any challenge" now their X Factor dream has ended they replied jokingly, saying: "Are we celebrities?"

The 18-year-olds, from Dublin told GMTV they were up for anything. They said: “We are up for any challenge. “We have got to think about it together and see if it’s for us.”

It remains to be seen whether they will replace a gap left in the I'm A Celebrity jungle after Katie Price finally had enough of being voted for every Bushtucker Trial and walked this morning. 

Meanwhile the teenagers were sure to advertise to presenter Lorraine Kelly that they were both currently single - although they were quick to point out it was not because they haven't attracted any girls.

John said: “At the moment we don’t have girlfriends. 

Edward added: “We didn’t want to be missing anyone.”

The twins, who said it takes them only 10 seconds to create the trademark hairstyles which add to their cartoon image, proved controversial by staying in the competition by wowing fans with their energetic dance routines despite lacklustre singing abilities.
