DANCE guru Brian Friedman believes Dannii Minogue has replaced Simon Cowell as the most credible judge.

The choreographer reckons Simon Cowell has lost the respect of viewers after a series of blunders on the X Factor, including backing the terrible twins over ­talented Lucie Jones, 18.

The creative director said: “I think ­everything Dannii has said all season has been pretty much on point.

“She is my favourite judge right now.

“Simon is in a tough place in the show for keeping the twins in after all his comments.

“He’s known for ­speaking the truth – but I think that’s what Dannii has done so well this year.”

He said the 37-year-old Aussie is “not taking any flak from the other ­judges” and has come out fighting for her last act Stacey ­Solomon, 20.

Brian, 32, also backed ­Jedward to make it to the ­final. He said: “The twins are ­serious ­challengers, they have a great chance of making the final.

“What makes them even more dangerous is they are finally starting to ­believe they have a shot and that’s half the battle.

“There’s been a change in them this week.

“They have a lot more confidence and I’ve had my best ­session with them.

“Unbelievably, they’ve actually been doing what I’ve told them.

“I’ve changed my ­method of teaching – I’ve stopped giving them ­difficult moves and am ­instead just giving them what they are good at.

“It seems to work because they are less stressed and I’m less stressed.

“I’ve grown to love them, even though they drive me mad.”
