BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie aim to show the world they’ve still got the hots for each other…by ­hijacking the Oscars.

Hollywood’s golden couple intend to put on a red-carpet command performance in front of a worldwide TV audience of more than 400 million.

In a massive PR exercise aimed at ­crushing rumours of an imminent split, next month’s Academy Awards are likely to be ­upstaged by the Brangelina Show.

“Brad and Angie will take their time to smile, hold hands and pose for the cameras as if they were teenage sweethearts,” a source close to them revealed.

“They want to prove that far from being over, their relationship is rock solid.”

So far Brad, 46, and Angie, 34, have stayed silent over claims that Los Angeles divorce attorney Sorrel Trope, the lawyer hired by Tiger Woods’ wife Elin, is “disentangling” their finances before a break-up.

They have also kept quiet on ­allegations that Angelina had an affair with a voice coach on her new spy thriller movie Salt.

An actress friend said: “She and Brad have been hurt like never before by some of the accusations and they want to put an end to it once and for all.

“They see little ­option but to fight back the only way they can – with a spectacular display of affection at the Oscars.”
