VANESSA Perroncel was chased by sacked England skipper John Terry for nine years.

The French beauty, who has lined up a £1million modelling deal, finally caved in to his advances last summer.

And she told friends how last Friday – when the story of their affair broke – married dad-of-twins Terry, 29, begged her to keep quiet.

In a panicky phone call to his ex-lover he said: “The shit’s hit the fan. Don’t say anything to anybody. I’ll get my people to sort this out. Whatever you do, don’t say anything to Toni.

“My people will take care of you. Don’t say anything to anybody.”

Vanessa, 33, has allegedly since signed an £800,000 deal with the Chelsea defender to “keep schtum” about their relationship.

But pals have revealed to the Daily Star Sunday what Vanessa – the ex-girlfriend of Terry’s former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge – has told them.

It was claimed Terry got Vanessa pregnant and paid for her to have a termination.

But Vanessa’s best friend, lawyer Monica Daniel, said: “She certainly did not have an abortion.”

And other pals have told how the player pursued Vanessa for the best part of a decade.

One said: “What people don’t realise is that John had been trying (to get with her) for nine years.

“They have known each other for a long, long time. Long before she knew Wayne Bridge.”

It was only when Vanessa split with Manchester City ace Bridge – the father of her son Jaydon – last summer that she eventually got closer to Terry.

When news of the affair leaked out, Terry tried to gag journalists but failed when a judge ruled against him.

His long-suffering wife Toni fled to Dubai, while pals of Bridge, 29, revealed how he was “devastated” by his former pal’s betrayal.

And on Friday, Terry was stripped of the England captaincy.

Vanessa told a pal: “I’m genuinely sorry he lost the captaincy. The most important thing for me, though, is to sort everything out with Wayne. That’s my priority.”

Best pal Monica said last night she believes Vanessa is not emotionally over the left-back.

Monica, 34, said: “She is still in love with him. He is the father of their son and she has very strong feelings for him. I couldn’t say whether she would eventually get back together with him but I think that has been in her mind.”

Vanessa, who is also reported to have had relationships with two other former Chelsea stars, Eidur Gudjohnsen and Adrian Mutu, is set to sign a £1million deal with a major lingerie company in the next few days.

Another pal said: “Vanessa really wants to get back to modelling.

“She’s had lots of offers and it’s likely she’ll be doing a deal very soon.”

Meanwhile Vanessa’s family in France said last night they were devastated by the news of her affair with the England star.

Uncle Jean-Marc Perroncel said: “The family is now very upset at what is happening to her. We are worried for her.”
